Terms and Conditions
1. Who we are
This website is operated by The Curriculum Foundry ("we", "us"), trading from 6 Mellow Fields, Laughton en le Morthen, Sheffield S25 1YW. You can contact us at hello@thecurriculumfoundry.co.uk.
2. What we sell
We sell digital curriculum resources for schools: schemes of work, lesson decks, knowledge organisers, medium-term plans, retrieval materials, assessment packs and related documents, mapped to the specification or National Curriculum programme you select. Through the Revision Room we also sell revision packs to parents, carers and students aged 18 or over: flashcards, quotation cards and revision sequences derived from the same checked material. All buyers must be 18 or over. Resources are supplied as digital files; nothing physical is shipped.
Some resources are available immediately from our catalogue. Others are made to order: produced for you after you order, normally delivered within 24 hours of confirmation. Revision Room packs are documents only and are normally delivered by email within about 30 minutes; at checkout you agree to immediate delivery, and once delivery has begun the 14 day cancellation right no longer applies to those packs. Delivery timescales are targets we take seriously, not guarantees; if a commission will take longer, we will tell you promptly.
3. Orders and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. You can pay by card at checkout (processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details), or, for schools and trusts, order by invoice: we confirm your order by email, deliver, then invoice your finance office, payable by BACS within 30 days of the invoice date. Where a full package and its individual components appear in the same order, the package already includes those components; we may contact you before processing to remove the duplication rather than charge you twice.
4. Delivery
Resources are delivered to the email address given at checkout, as attachments or secure download links. Delivery is complete when we send the files or links. If anything fails to arrive, contact order@thecurriculumfoundry.co.uk and we will re-send without charge.
5. Your licence
When you buy a resource you are buying a licence to use it, not ownership of it. Unless the product description says otherwise:
- An individual purchase licenses use by the purchasing teacher and their classes, within their school.
- Department bundles license use across the purchasing department; whole-school and trust licences are as described in the relevant agreement.
- You may print, display, adapt and share the resources with your students as part of normal teaching.
- You may not resell, sub-license, publish, or distribute the resources outside the licensed school(s), including uploading them to resource-sharing websites, public drives, or social media.
6. Third-party texts and copyright
Where a resource works with a published text, we reproduce material that is out of copyright in full, and for texts in copyright we provide precise references and locators rather than the text itself, so that extracts can be supplied within your school under its own copyright licences. All original content in our resources is © The Curriculum Foundry. Examination board specification references are used for the purpose of mapping and alignment; we are independent of, and not endorsed by, any examination board.
7. How our resources are made
Our resources are produced by our editorial team using subject expertise together with modern production tools, including AI-assisted drafting. Specification mapping, verification and final sign-off are carried out by people.
8. Accuracy
Specification details (assessment structures, set texts, weightings) are verified against the examination boards' published documents at the time shown in each resource. Boards revise their specifications from time to time; always confirm current arrangements with the board for high-stakes decisions. If you find an error in one of our resources, tell us and we will correct it and re-issue the file.
9. Cancellations and refunds
Our approach to cancellations, the 14-day cooling-off period for digital content, and refunds for faulty or misdescribed resources is set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you bought the resource, and our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Our resources support teachers' professional judgement; they do not replace it.
11. General
We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page at the time of your order applies to it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you are a consumer you may also rely on the consumer protections of the part of the UK where you live.
