Refund Policy

Last updated 20 August 2026
Plain English first: if a resource is faulty, wrong, or not what we described, we will re-issue it or refund it. If you simply change your mind before we've delivered your files, we'll refund you. Once digital files have been delivered, or a made-to-order commission has gone into production, the legal cancellation right ends, but talk to us anyway; we would rather fix a problem than win an argument.

Changed your mind?

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content, you agree at checkout that delivery begins straight away, and that once delivery has begun you waive the cancellation right; this is the standard basis on which digital downloads are sold. In practice:

Faulty, wrong, or not as described

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 entitles you to digital content that is of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described, and those rights are not affected by anything above. If a resource has an error, doesn't match its description, won't open, or maps to the wrong specification, contact us and we will repair or replace it promptly; if we can't put it right within a reasonable time, we will refund it.

School invoice orders

For orders placed by invoice, the same standards apply. If a delivered resource is faulty or misdescribed, we correct or replace it before the invoice falls due, or credit the invoice accordingly. Queries: finance@thecurriculumfoundry.co.uk.

How refunds are paid

Card refunds go back to the original payment method via Stripe, normally within 5 to 10 working days of being issued. Invoice credits are applied to the school's account or refunded by BACS.

Talk to us first

Whatever the issue, email hello@thecurriculumfoundry.co.uk with your order details before raising a card dispute; nearly everything can be resolved the same working day.
